Association of Crime and Intelligence Analysts (ACIA) - ACIA is a network of crime and intelligence analysts / researchers and is dedicated to developing both public and private sector analysts in their analytical skills.

Association Of European Threat Assessment Professionals (AETAP)  - AETAP is an international non-profit organization committed to the promotion of research on threat assessment and management, the implementation of tools and structures in relation to the topic, teaching and training professionals in threat assessment and management. 

Association of Security Consultants (ASC) - Founded in 1991, the Association of Security Consultants is recognised as the professional organisation for independent security consultants, representing their interests and promoting their activities.

ASIS International – Formally the American Society for Industrial Security, ASIS was founded in 1955 as a global community of security practitioners and offers a range of education programs, publications and events to help members thrive professionally. They also have an ASIS Young Professionals & Women section.

Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) - Founded in 1992 by the Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Unit, ATAP is a non-profit organization whose objective is to learn more about threat situations. Its mission is to share and facilitate the experiences and techniques of professionals in the field of threat assessment and/or threat management.

Institute of Risk Management – A body for professional risk management that is aimed at building excellent in the field.

International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC) – One of the largest and most recognized security consultant associations in the industry aims to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for professionalism and ethical conduct.

International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) -  A 40+ year old body that offers recognition, information and resources for all safety, health and risk practitioners at whatever stage of their career they are.

International Professional Security Association - A 50 year old body that is aimed to ensure professionalism in the management of security operations.

International Security Management Institute – A professional body that for prof provides training courses in risk management.

Security Institute – One of the largest professional membership body for security professionals in the UK. It also has a Young Professionals section.

The Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals (AIRIP) - AIRIP was founded in 2015 and dedicated to risk intelligence professionals who focuses on the areas of business opportunity, physical security, cyber security, reputation, and political risk intelligence especially in training, industry ethics and creating events.
